February 24, 2023—Like an unstoppable hurricane that relentlessly gains momentum, Rome Gladiators breezed through Dulaanay’s Volleyball Championships as they were crowned champions in both men's and women's categories.
Rome Gladiators reigned triumphant over Salamanca Tigers in the men’s finals, 25-11, 25-21, 25-22.
On the other hand, the Rome Gladiators women’s team carved out a convincing win over Manresa Vipers in dominant fashion, winning in straight sets, 25-18, 25-12, 25-18.
"For me, the hard work and dedication of all members of the Rome cluster inspired me to give my absolute best," stated Jonathan Arcee Tripoli, the captain of Rome's Volleyball Men.
Aliyah Nicolette Tan, Manresa's libero, expressed her amusement and gratefulness in representing her cluster and having great teammates when asked about her sentiments during this year's volleyball games.
“I am so grateful to have these people supporting us. We would not have gotten this far without them,” Tan added.
The following are the final ranking of clusters in the men's division: Rome, Salamanca, Barcelona, Manresa, Paris, Montserrat, Pamplona, and Jerusalem.
In the women's division, the official standings are Rome, Manresa, Pamplona, Salamanca, Barcelona, Jerusalem, Paris, and Montserrat, respectively.
