August 14, 2023 — The Ateneo de Davao University Senior High School (AdDU-SHS) community officially commenced this school year's club fair, which would last from August 14-18, with the theme "Club Fair 2023: Forging Forward" to allow students to find their desired clubs and foster their same shared skills and interests.

All 59 clubs, with their respective club moderators, were presented through a short program at the SHS gymnasium.

During the opening remarks, Sir Paul Adriel Locquias, the Pulsong Atenista Student Government (PASG) Chairperson and the Learner Activity Coordinator, stated that "To forge is to create something new, new paths, new relationships, and a new family with the club."

In line with the university's vision and mission, Sir Paul reinstated that joining a club will aid in making one a holistic learner through talent, social, spiritual, and leadership development.

The 2023 PASG general elections discernment period and the schedule were officially announced within the fair, calling for interested students to file for candidacy in the following roles: Assistant Secretary General, Auditor, Grade 11 Representative, Grade 12 Representative, and Cluster Representatives.

For a learner to file for candidacy, they must be a bona fide AdDU-SHS learner that harbors leadership qualities that possess and embodies the University's vision, mission, and ideals along with the Ignatian values.

The learner must be committed to accomplishing the expected responsibilities of their desired position and have an average grade point of 85 as a bare minimum and no grade lower than 80 during the previous academic year and the present semester.

The program was followed by club classroom visitations and online club registrations, where the student body was free to roam around and search for the club that would pique their interest.
