Ateneo de Davao University Senior High School (AdDU-SHS) unit celebrated its annual intramurals, Ignite, last March 5-7, 2024, with the theme: "Sulo ng Tagumpay: Igniting Passion and Fueling the Flames of Solidarity," for three days straight the students, teachers, faculty and staff spent the last three days on campus preparing, cheering, and uniting in passion for the events.

March 5 (Day 0) served as the preparation day of the AdDU-SHS community for the event, with the Ignite mass being held at the gym and presided by Fr. Jessel "Jboy" Gonzales, who prompted students to "Unite in play and ignite in passion" as Ignite comes into fruition; the mass was then followed by the Copy Cut: Pinoy TV Commercial Spoof in which each of the eight clusters presented their entries for the competition.

In the afternoon, learners who were participants in the various events of Ignite held their general rehearsal, while learners of the Accountancy and Business Management (ABM) and Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) strand prepared their booths and products for the opening of their respective bazaars; with the ABM bazaar officially opening later in the afternoon.

On March 6 (Day 1), the Ignite was opened by a production number by the Ateneo Blue Belles, Liga ng mga Atenistang Mananayaw (LIAM), and the cluster representatives, followed by the torch lighting ceremony, which was headed by the Pulsong Atenista Student Government (PASG) President Rezalvacion Baneke, award-winning varsity player of the Ateneo Basketball team Karl Chua, and the cluster representatives.

The cheer dance competition then followed suit; all eight clusters performed their cheer-dance routines as the crowd cheered their classmen on; the second event of the day was the Battle of the Bands (BTOB), in which a representative band from all clusters performed one foreign song and one Original Filipino Music (OPM) song on stage in the gym.

On the same day at 1:00 PM, the HUMSS bazaar officially opened through a ribbon cutting ceremony headed by the AdDU-SHS Director, Sir Ricardo "Rikki" Enriquez, and the Social Science cluster head, Ma'am Chesly Cuevas; the bazaar featured booths and advocacies from all seven sections of HUMSS 12, profits generated from this bazaar would go to the class' partnered community from their community engagements held last January.

The final event of the day was the "You Got Served! Lip Sync Battle," where representatives from the clusters once again competed with each other as they performed their renditions of popular songs through lip-syncing.

On Day 2 of Ignite, March 7, the morning was held to cater for every sports championship game, including basketball, volleyball, futsal, and e-games. All the mentioned matches began simultaneously at 8:00 AM. Spearheaded by PASG, referees, and moderators, each game fueled the players' passion for emerging as victors and ignited each cluster's support and cheers.

Following the championship rounds, the remaining nonsports events commenced in the afternoon. By moving to the rhythm of Cha Cha, Rumba, and Jive, dancesport was the first competition, which comprised one couple per cluster to showcase their talents and skills in ballroom dancing. The junior category of Masining na Kabataang Tagapagtaguyod ng Kultura (MASKARA) performed Karatong, highlighting the Waray bamboo percussion right after.

The final event to conquer the stage was the Ateneo Dance Battle, where the rhythm of OPM and the spirit of Filipino family values flourished within each cluster's dancers. It was then divided into three categories: 1 vs. 1, 3 vs. 3, and Crew vs. Crew, which kindled the crowd's excitement. Then, MASKARA's open category presented the Spanish-influenced dance using bamboo castanets called Jota Moncadeña as the day's final performance.

By 3:30 PM, the awarding took place with Sir Rikki, Fr. Jboy, moderators, and PASG leading the announcement of the top 3 rankings for the remaining sports and nonsports events. The cluster representatives gathered on the stage and proudly swung their flags when their clusters were awarded.

The overall ranking for Ignite 2024 is as follows:

2nd Runner-Up: Pamplona

3rd Runner-Up: Paris

After the awarding ceremony, Sir Rikki said, "In Senior High School, you will have the best of your life for two years." He then declared March 8, Friday, as no class, intended for the rest day of students, faculty, and staff; the day ended with "Shindig" with the maker of music, DJ Torch Gacuma. From then on, the crowd exploded in cheers and danced the night away as Ignite 2024 officially concluded.
