Taken place at the AdDU-SHS Gymnasium on the afternoon of January 23, 2024, Humanities and Social Sciences learners and teachers celebrated HUMSS Strand Day with the theme, "Untying Discord, Uniting Humanities, Business, and Sciences to Navigate the VUCA World," which aims to showcase the creativity of the HUMSS community.

After being canceled and rescheduled three times because of bad weather occurrences that supposedly must have happened last January 16 and January 22, 2024, the highly anticipated HUMSS Strand Day finally has the chance to be commemorated by the learners and teachers.

As a tradition before proceeding with the event, it started with an opening prayer led by Mr. Al Joven Lumacad, followed by the Philippine national anthem and AdDU's official hymn, The Blue Knights Song.

To officially start with the program, hosts from A-Speak, CJ Karyle E. Balandra, and Jaliah Abosama introduced themselves on stage, welcomed the attendees, and did a crowd energy check.

Opening remarks were then led by the AdDU-SHS' Assistant Director for Academics, Ms. Aujefel Amor Lee, who stated how the activities are designed to "Further hone their skills and deepen their appreciation of the role of HUMSS about the different strands."

After the opening remarks, an opening salvo highlighted Sir Rico Aya-Ay and Ms. Ria Gay Moboayaen's vocal talents.

In line with this, learners were also allowed to showcase their talent through an event called "HUMSS Got Talent," judged by Mrs. Marites Fanencia-Lumacad, Ms. Charlene Joy Eludo, and Mr. Eric Ballesteros. The criteria were given beforehand.
